Zinsser (Columbia, M.D. 1903) was Charles Wilder Professor of Bacteriology and Immunology at Harvard Medical School from 1935 to 1940, chief of bacteriological services at Children's and Infants' Hospital, and consultant in bacteriology at Peter Bent Brigham Hospital in Boston, Mass.
